Floret Center and Federal Medical Centre, Bida Sign MoU to Advance Genomics and Translational Health Research in Nigeria

Lagos, Nigeria — 29 January 2026

The Floret Center for Advanced Genomics & Bioinformatics Research (“The Floret Center”) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal Medical Centre, Bida (“FMC Bida”), establishing a collaborative framework to advance genomics, translational health research, and evidence-based clinical practice in Nigeria. The partnership emphasizes capacity building, clinical research, and the generation of data-driven healthcare solutions.

The collaboration brings together FMC Bida’s clinical expertise and accredited training programs with Floret Center’s strengths in genomics, evidence-based healthcare, and data-driven research. Together, both institutions aim to strengthen research, training, and innovation that translate into meaningful public health impact.

This partnership provides a foundation for high-impact research, joint training programs, and institutional collaborations that will contribute to advancing healthcare, scientific knowledge, and translational genomics in Nigeria.
