Dr. Oyetayo Adefiranye  is a Research Fellow at the Floret Center for Advanced Genomics and Bioinformatics Research. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Lagos, where her research explored the valorization of agricultural and industrial waste using acetic acid bacteria. With over a decade of academic and professional experience, Dr. Adefiranye has established herself as a dedicated microbiologist specializing in pharmaceutical microbiology, microbial biotechnology, and fermentation science.

Her work has been featured in leading peer-reviewed journals, highlighting her contributions to antibiotic resistance studies, microbial ecology, and sustainable waste management solutions. Dr. Adefiranye is passionate about leveraging innovative microbial approaches to address global challenges in health, agriculture, and the environment. A member of the American Society for Microbiology and Applied Microbiology International, she actively collaborates on interdisciplinary research projects aimed at advancing genomics and bioinformatics.
